Alberta Ferretti

Alberta Ferretti is a synonym for style, femininity and glamour. Her approach to fashion is aimed at exalting the woman in all her aspects, through clothes that not only enhance her personality, but also bring out her strengths. To express this feminine and sensual style, Alberta Ferretti chose chiffon: precious, light, flexible. Clothes tailored in this precious material express a sublime lightness and are the result of manufacturing techniques capable of bending this fabric to her own will.

This is how transparent clothing which is never too provocative is born, and whose embroideries seem to dance in the air, the folds of which constantly recreate every movement of the body.
Clothes that enhance not only the silhouette but also the personality of the women who wear them.
For these reasons celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Diane Kruger, Scarlett Johansson, Christina Ricci, Demi Moore, Jessica Alba, Queen Rania of Jordan and others have chosen and choose Alberta Ferretti. A woman who works to make women always beautiful.

Stacy Martin became the face of Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection. Stacy Martin makes a return to her modeling roots starring in Miu Miu’s ad campaign.
The author of the beautiful black and white photographs is photographer Steven Meisel. He like no other, is able to create a static frame with a truly cinematic allure. It’s enough to remember his emblematic editorials and covers for Vogue Italia.

Style Advice – Maxi Dresses

Summer is here and the maxi dress has been a big hit and is probably likely to stay around for a while yet. Women who are tall and slim can get a way with any style of the maxi dress. But if you are petite or on the large side, you need to give the maxi dress a few thoughts on how you can wear it. Here are a few tips.

accessories-for-leopard-print-maxi-dress

Choose a style that is well cut and in proportion if you have a petite frame. Avoid maxi dresses that have very full skirts, as this style will drown you. Keep the top slightly fitted or add a fitted jacket or cardigan to it to keep the look neat.

Wear chunky heels with a maxi dress. Not only will this make you look taller but will stop the long skirt from swamping you.

Empire style dresses suit most figures and will hide any lumps and bumps you have around your middle.

An A-line or a bias cut maxi dress can complement a shorter figure. It can add extra height to your figure rather than take it away.

Accessorize maxi dresses with chunky, long jewellery and oversized shades and bags to finish the look. This is a perfect, cool and very casual look when you are sight-seeing or shopping.

For larger women the maxi dress enables them to feel more feminine. It will cover big thighs, hips and bottoms. If you are bigger on the top buy maxi dresses with a halter style, this will flatter your figure better than thin strap dresses. A V-neckline will also take the attention away from a bigger bust. Also try to avoid dresses that have elasticated or smocking tops.
