Victoria Beckham covers Vogue UK’s August 2014 issue . The singer turned fashion designer was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier as you never saw her before dressed with Wellington boots as a skilled gardener .

This is the third time Victoria appears on the cover of the British Vogue. For this issue the magazine released two covers : a fashionable one and another where the designer holds a dog in her arms.

In an interview for the magazine Victoria Beckham talks about turning 40 , opening her first flagship store on London’s Dover Street , her life and her challenging fitness regime .

“I looked at it  [turning 40] and said to myself, I have four incredible children, an incredible husband, a business that’s doing very well. I’ve worked hard and achieved a lot. I don’t think I could have achieved much more,” she told

Wear chunky heels with a maxi dress. Not only will this make you look taller but will stop the long skirt from swamping you.

Empire style dresses suit most figures and will hide any lumps and bumps you have around your middle.

An A-line or a bias cut maxi dress can complement a shorter figure. It can add extra height to your figure rather than take it away.

Accessorize maxi dresses with chunky, long jewellery and oversized shades and bags to finish the look. This is a perfect, cool and very casual look when you are sight-seeing or shopping.

 

For larger women the maxi dress enables them to feel more feminine. It will cover big thighs, hips and bottoms. If you are bigger on the top buy maxi dresses with a halter style, this will flatter your figure better than thin strap dresses. A V-neckline will also take the attention away from a bigger bust.
